Why Palm Reading is Tricky

Palm reading is easy to start learning, but takes a long time to master. Why? For two reasons. First, there is much more to consider than just the basic lines in the basic, free palm reading chart above. You have to take into account the various regions of the palm and even the fingers. This isn't usually covered in free palm reading resources. These intricacies are covered in most palm reading guides.

The next, and probably the hardest part about palm reading is that it takes experience before you can really tell what's always going on at the palm level. Each palm line is never alike, and it can be hard to interpret it to see which direction it's going, it's thickness, the way it moves across the palm, etc. This is the hardest part for me as an aspiring palm reader.

Three Most Important Palm Lines

There are many lines to consider in a full palm reading, but the three most important ones are the Heart, Life, and Head lines, shown below.

Heart Line: This line is where matters of the heart are looked into and predicted. This can be anything from your love life to physical heart conditions. During my free palm reading, I was shown to have a thick, long heart line, meaning my heart is very healthy and I should be expecting love very soon (that's how she made the prediction, I think).

Life Line: This line refers to your vitality and well-being. It also deals with major life changes. I remember during my free palm reading she said she saw nothing unusual about my life line. I'm not expecting any drastic or even cataclysmic changes in the foreseeable future. I thought in my free palm reading she could find out how long I would live by looking at my life line but she said you really can't determine that from your life line.

Head Line: The head line deals with matters of the mind. This is where I was blown away with my free palm reading. She pinned down my personality exactly. She was especially accurate with the fact that I'm a complete left brain and a kinetic learner. By looking at the head line you can determine essentially how the mind works.

My Free Palm Reading Experience and a Little History

Palm reading, also known as palmistry, chirology, chiromancy, or hand analysis, is an ancient divine art which one can use to peer into someone's true personality and even look into their future.

My first experience with palm reading was late last year when my mother's cousin offered me a free palm reading. I had never done it before and was skeptical, but I never turn down a free anything, so I agreed to the free palm reading.

First of all, she floored me with her personality analysis. With the exception of her prediction that I'm not a very private person (not true at all) she read my palm like a book. She also said that within the next year I'll meet my future wife. Not sure if that's true or not, but there are a few hopefuls in the horizon!

Ever since that free palm reading, I was very curious and started studying and learning more about it. Palm reading has been around for over 5000 years, with roots in Indian astrology. From there it spread to East Asia, Persia, and eventually Ancient Egypt and Greece, where it was practiced by the Greek philosopher Anaxagoras.

I was looking far and wide for a free palm reading course, but aside from a few free palm reading snippets and videos, the best I could find was this cheap and easy palm reading guide I'll dig it up whenever I find the damn thing!
